Emailhe RPL process will enable springboard participants to build on their existing skills and competence. The Institute is aware that many Springboard applicants will have a range of knowledge skills and competence that they have developed through their life and work experience and that are not necessarily accredited. ITT Dublin has an RPL process in place that recognises both the accredited and experiential learning of an individual. ITT Dublin will work with springboard participants to identify their existing skills and competence and to award them credit for their learning however it has been acquired. This will ensure that Springboard participants will have to opportunity to gain credit for their for both accredited and experiential learning and can tailor their programme to complement existing skills and knowledge and to develop new skills to support their future career.
