The Diploma in Corporate Environmental Planning is a practice based course which takes an integrative approach to focus on environmental challenges and opportunities in organisations, regionally and nationally, to develop sustainable systems, policies and practices, through technological, organisational, business and service innovations. The course has a strong focus on impacts and outputs, and correspondingly the assessments include developing actionable plans for the participants’ current or future employers and/or organisations.
The course develops graduates with the interdisciplinary knowledge and skills to drive positive change towards environmentally sound, sustainable public sector organisations, and profitable businesses and value chains in the commercial sector.
The course takes a systems approach to addressing environmental challenges, by integrating information technology, smart analytics, automation and a drive towards a circular economy, to develop environmental plans for their organisations.
This 1-year part-time flexible course will provide students with a holistic perspective on environmental planning to assist in the development of best practice in environmental management, resource efficiency, sustainable design and technologies.
