About this Course

This programme provides an opportunity for people who have general degrees to transition into hotel management as well as an opportunity for existing hotel managers to upskill. The hotel industry is experiencing phenomenal growth with an increase in overseas visitor numbers and an additional 2,200 bedrooms currently being built by Dalata Hotel group alone. This level of maturity in the sector requires a new skillset at a strategic level. Traditionally hotel managers had a strong operational skillset and focus. The new skills required will be around business analytics, maximising resources and world class services. The programme is designed to be delivered through a blended learning format, online, face-to-face and work based learning.

Entry Requirements

Applicants who hold a level 7 or equivalent award in hotel management or similar discipline. The Institute's policy in relation to non-standard applicants also applies.
