The BSc in Computing in Digital Forensics & Cyber Security degree creates top class Cyber Security graduates that are work ready for the security threats and challenges confronting business today.
This is a one year part-time add-on level 7 degree for students with a level 6 in ICT related qualification.


Entry Requirements

NFQ Level 6 in ICT or equivalent qualifications including prior learning and experience

Long Description

Programme Modules :
Computer & Network Forensics: Covers the essentials of forensics investigations
Secure Communications: How information is secured on networks and how to prevent it being hacked
Professional Penetration Testing: Tools and techniques of hacking computer systems and applications
Network Security: How to secure a network and analyse logging data
Secure Programming: How to write secure code and identify insecure code
Group Project: This module teaches ownership of tasks and working in teams by applying the course knowledge
