About this Course

This new innovative BSc in Process Technologies will develop students scientific, business and professional skills to work across diverse roles in the BioPharma, Medical Device and Food & Beverage Sectors.

Delivered by industry professionals, this course ensures you receive the most up to date and relevant STEM skills to advance your career in operator, technician or supervisory roles in the high growth food, pharma and medical device sectors.
This course is uniquely designed to minimise disruption to your schedule with flexible, part-time delivery and blended e-Learning solutions.

Students will develop a knowledge of current good manufacturing practices (GMP) and regulations in BioPharma, MedTech and Food as well as a focus on emerging trends within these sectors. Integrating theoretical and practical learning in a Pilot Plant facility, graduates will experiment with analytical and biochemical techniques and understand their application within each sector.

Innopharma Education, in conjunction with Technological University Dublin - Tallaght Campus, developed this new BSc in Process Technologies to provide highly trained graduates to for the BioPharma, Medical Device and Food & Beverage Sectors.

Course Outline

The course is completed over three semesters and is delivered two evenings per week online and two Saturdays per month in class.

Entry Requirements

Applicants must possess a minimum HETAC Level 6 qualification in Science, Engineering or a related discipline. Existing Production Operators and Technicians who want to train or retrain in the engineering and manufacturing sectors and progress along NFQ will be considered based on RPL.
