These lectures are delivered online through LIT's lecture capture systems and learner management system and are provided free to all Springboard learners. These lectures are supplemented by a forum which keeps learners up to date on all supports available from the Careers Service in the Institute.

The Careers Service at the Limerick Institute of Technology assists learners in the transition from education to work experience, further study or full-time employment. The service assists students in preparing for the jobs market, through one-to-one appointments, regular Quick Query/CV Clinic Drop-In Sessions and extensive on-line support. We offer group workshops on careers advice and guidance, further study options, practical CV preparation and interview and job search techniques. We also co-ordinate employer led events, such as seminars and annual events, such as the Careers & Further Options Fair.

The Service has excellent links with industry and works actively with key employers in placing learners, and welcomes employer visits for presentations and interviews on campus. Vacancies are advertised throughout the year through internal notice boards and emails. The Careers Service webpage and social media streams also advertise vacancies and events, and these are available to internal learners and former graduates.
