About this Course

The PgDip in UX Design & Applied Innovation is designed to enhance learner capabilities and encourage specialist learning in User Experience (UX), Strategic Design Thinking Acumen, User Centred Clarity, Emerging Technologies, and Digital Innovation. Graduates will have gained knowledge of user experience design and innovation processes, improved visual communication skills through presentation and the study of UI, gained an insight into consumer behaviours and explored and experimented with emerging technologies.
Typical applicants are graduates from technical development and digital media plus design backgrounds, in terms of education and industry work experience.

Entry Requirements

A design/digital media/software development/digital markets related Honours degree (Level 8), or an equivalent qualification. Non-degree graduates (diploma/certificate) and who have significant work experience in a related design industry may be eligible to apply. LYIT recognises that life and work experience counts, and operates a comprehensive Recognition of Prior Experiential Learning (RPL) scheme.

A combination of online and class-room based teaching.

Delivery Notes

Students should have access to a computer or laptop (with a camera) and broadband. We recommend that students have a headset with a mic and use a Chrome browser for online classes.
