About this Course

This blended learning national programme is a one-year part-time Diploma in Technology Enhanced Learning. It was developed in a partnership with SOLAS in 2018-19 with a view to addressing the lack technical confidence and competence of FET workplace sector. This initiative was prioitised as 'TEL efficacy' emerged as the the most concerning skills gap (out of 7 skills) based on a SOLAS skills gap analysis. In that academic year, NUI Galway successfully delivered the Diploma in 3 national locations for 60 participants.

We were delighted to secure Springboard+ funding for 20 places on the Diploma in Technology Enhanced Learning in academic year 2019-20. From a statistical perspective, the Springboard+ AIMs platform received VIEWS, accepted 40 applications, and awarded 19 submissions onto the programme.
The practitioners will finish their course in May 2020.
