About this Course

The PG Certificate in Digital Leadership and Transformation is designed to equip current and aspiring managers with a comprehensive understanding of digital technologies and their potential application, along with the leadership and transversal skills required to lead digital change within an organisation. Underpinned by cutting edge research from TU Dublin, this programme will develop effective virtual leaders who will play a key role in helping their organisations to attract and retain talent based in regional locations for the good of society and the economy, in alignment with the National Remote Work Strategy (2021). The programme will develop important transversal skills (Ireland’s National Skills Strategy 2025) such as teamwork, creativity, entrepreneurial thinking, analytical competence and communication skills. A range of specific career development supports will be provided to help unemployed students to find suitable employment. An expert ‘Future of Work’ seminar series will provide an opportunity for students to build their professional network and hear the views of Irish and international thought leaders on current issues including sustainability, the application of technology to global challenges, the human and ethical considerations of emerging technologies and the future of work.

Module areas in the programme include:
• Emerging technologies and business application
• Disruptive Innovation
• Data analytics - interpretation & visualisation
• Digital business strategy and business models
• Digital Transformation and Project Management
• Leading Virtual Teams

• Future of Work Seminar Series

The programme will be delivered part-time from January - December. Delivery will be primarily online with a small number of on-campus events for networking and connectivity. Graduates will have an opportunity to complete further programmes in order to obtain a Masters Degree.
